Luxury and charm: Hotel de la Ville opens in Rome
Luxury hotel group, Rocco Forte Hotels, has recently opened its newest property in Rome, marking the group’s second property in the city. Atop the Spanish Steps and with breathtaking views over the Italian capital, Hotel de la Ville delivers next-level luxury and stunning design.
The hotel features 104 rooms and suites, a spa, six dining and drinks outlets, as well as a peach-perfect courtyard that transports you from the middle of Rome to the fields of Tuscany. While each of the rooms offers spaciousness, comfort and elegant design touches that meld modern and classic influences, it’s the Suite de la Ville that’s truly the hotel’s crown jewel. Found on the 8th floor and accessed by a private elevator, the suite is a lavish space with its own curated collection of art, antique furniture, handmade wallpaper and historic tapestries. Designed by Tomasso Ziffer in collaboration with Rocco Forte Hotels’ Director of Design, Olga Polizzi, Suite de la Ville was inspired by 18th century European cultural opulence.
The hotel’s extensive food and beverage offerings include authentic trattoria-style food at Da Sistina, gourmet Mediterranean fare at Mosaico and rooftop cocktails at Cielo.
Hotel de la Ville offers romantic, old-world charm as well as Rocco Forte Hotels’ renowned premium service and hospitality.
