The McCallister family are going on holidays again and this time they’re taking Kevin. To celebrate the milestone Airbnb is letting fellow mischief makers book a night stay in the original Home Alone house.
Big brother Buzz McCallister is hosting the Airbnb stay to partner the release of Home Sweet Home Alone. You can watch the new holiday film on Disney+.
“We’re playing by my little bro’s rules,” the listing reads. So prepare to eat junk food, set some booby traps and sample some aftershave and scream into a mirror. Just stay out of Buzz’s room, okay?

The Chicago home houses four guests – yes quite curious considering the McCallisters are a family of seven.
A member of the McCallister security team will give you a tour, arrange all your meals and gift you Home Alone LEGO set to take home.
During your stay you will enjoy all the ’90s favourites your heart desires – we’re talking Chicago’s finest pizza and microwaveable Kraft Macaroni & Cheese. Absolutely chef’s kiss.

Curl up and watch the film franchise’s newest release in a cosy holiday setting with twinkling lights and a perfectly-trimmed Christmas tree.
And the best part – a meet and greet with a real-life tarantula. This one won’t attack you we promise.

How to book your stay
You can find the special one-night listing on Airbnb. The booking will open 6am AEDT on 8 December and it’s first in best dressed.
The Home Alone Airbnb stay is not a competition, so you will have to pay your way. The good news is that it only costs $34.94 AUD.

You will also have to get yourself to Chicago in the US for the stay on 12 December. Trust us you don’t want to be left home alone for this one.
Those that wish to stay the home will also have to follow local, state, federal, and Airbnb’s Covid-19 safety guidelines. A $1,000 Airbnb travel credit will be offered up if the stay needs to be cancelled for health reasons.
The Home Alone Aribnb is in Winnekta, Illinois, USA. The exact address will be provided after booking.
Getting there: Australian can now fly to USA from Sydney and Melbourne.
