Leading Australian photographer Ken Duncan has teamed up with China specialist Helen Wong’s Tours to host an inspirational 13-day tour to China, specially designed for camera enthusiasts and budding photographers.
“Discover China through the Lens” exclusive group tour will cover some of China’s most scenic regions, commencing in Hangzhou where travellers will take a leisurely cruise on West Lake and capture the surrounding autumn colours.
Other tour highlights include the fascinating architecture along Ancient Street in Tunxi, Yellow Mountain in Huangshan, the bustling mountain city on the banks of the Yangtze River in Chongqing, the snow-capped peaks and valley of Huanglong, the UNESCO World Heritage-listed natural wonders of Jiuzhaigou, and Chengdu, home of the giant pandas.
Renowned for his panoramic landscape images, Ken personally travelled to China last year to do the reconnaissance for this year’s tour to ensure it would be something very special, and will be accompanying the group and assisting participants in perfecting their photography skills throughout the trip.
