Healthcare workers can be nominated to win a free holiday to Nicaragua

To give something back to the healthcare workers that have been working tirelessly around the world to conquer the COVID-19 pandemic, the tour operators at ORO Travel are offering one lucky healthcare worker a free vacation in Nicaragua.

To enter all you have to do is register your interest or nominate someone you know that has been working on the frontline here.

Once the virus subsides and travel restrictions ease, the nominated healthcare worker and their chosen plus one, will win an eight-day vacation exploring the highlights of Nicaragua. On the tour, they will visit colonial cities, active volcanoes and pristine pacific ocean beaches while enjoying the local cuisine in a tropical climate.

The tour will begin and end in the capital city of Managua and allow enough time to explore Léon City, Granada and the Pacific Coast. All hotels, hotels, ground transportation and most additional activities will be covered but the winner will have to fund their own flights there.

“We think Nicaragua is the perfect place for people to visit once it is safe to do so. The country offers a model of sustainable tourism that supports local people, small businesses and rural communities.” ORO Travel said.

“Visitors will enjoy a unique journey into a land full of ancestral culture and traditions, rich biodiversity, impressive active volcanoes, unspoiled beaches, world-class handicrafts and above all the friendliest people in Latin America!”

The competition closes on 15 July, 2020, and the winner will be randomly selected from registered entries shortly after and notified by email.
