The Making of Harry Potter arrives in Tokyo

The world’s largest indoor Harry Potter attraction has opened in Japan.

Tokyo is a dynamic city where old meets new – and there is no shortage of exciting attractions and new openings of note. But as of 16 June 2023, the Japanese capital has become even more of a destination as Warner Bros. has added to the mix opening its first and only studio tour in Asia – The Making of Harry Potter.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo: The Making of Harry Potter is a brand-new walk-through entertainment attraction that takes visitors behind the scenes of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films to learn about the wondrous world of film production. Showcasing iconic sets such as the Great Hall, Diagon Alley and the Hogwarts Express on Platform 9 ¾, Harry Potter fans will also have the chance to be part of epic activities, from riding a broomstick, drinking a refreshing Butterbeer, appearing in a portrait by one of Hogwarts’ moving staircases and shopping from a vast range of products, many of which are only available at the Studio Tour.

It’s the largest indoor Harry Potter attraction worldwide for an incredible – and magical – day out. As the only Warner Bros. Studio Tour to open in Asia, this Tokyo site features exclusive sets not available anywhere else.

How to buy Harry Potter Tickets

Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter tickets must be purchased in advance via the official website as they are unavailable at the attraction. Find the details here.

Adult tickets: ¥6,300  
Junior ticket: ¥5,200  
Child tickets: ¥3,800

Conveniently located close to Ikebukuro and only a 20-minute ride on the Harry Potter-wrapped train.
