Hamburger Food Truck. Cusco, Peru

Hamburger Food Truck. Cusco, Peru

There’s this banged-up old beater of a truck that zips through the streets of Cusco on a nightly basis, and usually parks sometime after sundown on a relatively quiet street one block north of the Central Square. If you follow the massive Inca walls of the old church through the long alley with local ladies hawking their wears, you won’t be able to miss it. The truck’s cook serves up the most fantastic llama burger in Peru – juicy, tender, with just the right amount of onions and mustard, all on a bun toasted to perfection on the grill. It may look like the creepiest food truck in the entire world, but this is rolling deliciousness at its finest.
