Lake Como’s iconic Grand Hotel Tremezzo has now reopened for the 2016 season, offering guests a prime luxury hideaway from which to enjoy the northern hemisphere spring through autumn season.
An hour’s drive from Milan and its airports, the hotel is located in a leafy oasis where the two branches of the lake meet, at what is arguably the most beautiful spot on Lake Como.
Combining classic elegance with chic contemporary style, the exclusive hotel boasts 14 suites, including eight rooftop floor suites, enjoying panoramic terraces and outdoor heated Jacuzzis, and four historical suites in the centre of the original Palace.
Final design updates have now been completed to all the Superior Rooms rooms in the hotel, with the newly refurbished rooms featuring fresh and elegant interiors, while outside guests can enjoy unprecedented views of Lake Como from the freshly landscaped gardens.
After undergoing multi-million dollar refurbishments to parts of the original building over a number of years, the hotel unveils its highly anticipated new T Spa, located in the 18th century Villa Emilia next door. Over 1,000 square meters are dedicated to the beauty and wellness space, featuring an impressive humid area with Mediterranean bath, steam bath and sauna overlooking the lake, an ice fountain, showers and relaxation area. In addition, there are five treatment rooms, a hammam and nail bar, gym and infinity pool.
Boasting superior comfort, privacy and luxury, the brand new Suite Emilia is totally independent from the main body of the hotel, offering private access to the TSpa and is ideal for couples wanting a luxurious and romantic escape of pampering.
Meanwhile, guests can indulge in fine dining at La Terrazza restaurant or enjoy less formal yet delicious options such as fondues and barbecues at L’Escale Fondue & Wine Bar, classic Italian wood-fired pizzas at T Pizza or grilled meat and fish at T Beach.
