There’s nothing quite as good as staying in nature, while helping towards its conservation. This South Australian eco retreat offers both, providing a unique and magical stay.
Lost Retreats have unveiled a third architecturally designed, off-the-grid and eco-friendly retreat to their growing portfolio.
Skyline Retreat is located just 15 minutes from the Adelaide CBD, with sweeping views of the city yet surrounded by absolute wilderness.

A conscious design
Each Lost Retreats cabin is tailor made to match the eco-system of the site. This ensures the impact on the surrounding land is minimal whilst capturing the best views and nature experiences on offer.
Filled with bespoke timber finishes crafted from reused and recycled materials, the Skyline Retreat is a warm and inviting space.
The design is reminiscent of an alpine chalet but this eco retreat also boasts all the latest mod-con trimmings. Expect a spacious bed, full kitchen, heating and cooling, outdoor dining and board games.
Everything is custom-made, from hand-blown glassware to ceramics and soaps all created by local suppliers. Cabins are built in South Australia by eco-certified master craftsmen using sustainable and recycled materials.
The eco retreat is accompanied by an outdoor seating area and spacious deck that frames the horizon. Here, you can take in awe-inspiring sunsets over the skyline vista.
Guests are also spoiled for choice with over 50 cellar doors to explore in the neighbouring Adelaide Hills wine region.

Reconnect with nature
Lost Retreats’ mission is to offer an escape from the everyday grind. The company provides cabins made for guests to get back in touch with nature.
Its two other eco-friendly retreats are equally as impressive. The stunning Lakeside Retreat is only an hour from Adelaide, nestled between an idyllic lake and sprawling vineyards on Mt Jagged.
Hilltop Retreat on Willunga Hill is set amongst a regrowth eucalyptus forest that offers panoramic views over rolling vineyards towards the Great Australian Bight.
