Gardens by the Bay, Singapore

Known as the Garden City, Singapore truly lives up to its name, and there’s nowhere better to experience its horticultural masterpieces than the world-famous Gardens by the Bay.

Sprawling across 101 hectares of reclaimed land in the Marina Bay area, these spectacular gardens are home to more than one million plants, trees and flowers, with over 500,000 different species.

The highlights are the two climate-controlled glass conservatories; Flower Dome, which showcases the beauty of plants and flowers through ever-changing floral displays, and Cloud Forest, which features a stunning tropical rainforest, complete with the world’s tallest indoor waterfall and ‘misting’ sessions.

Another must-see is the awe-inspiring Supertree Grove, consisting of giant man-made trees which delight visitors with their nightly music and light performance, Garden Rhapsody. You can also walk the Skyway platform circling the trees 22 metres above ground, or enjoy a meal or drink at Indochine restaurant, located on top of the centre Supertree.
