Dale Chihuly is at the forefront of the development of glass as a fine art with his work exhibited in more than 200 museums around the world including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the de Young Museum in San Francisco, the Louvre, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. He has a lifelong interest in glasshouses and has created many to exhibit within botanical gardens, including the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew, London. In 2012, the magnificent Chihuly Garden and Glass opened next to the Space Needle in the Seattle Centre, with the eight Galleries, Garden and Glasshouse an immersive experience that spark wonder and inspiration.
