Renowned cruise provider Cruiseco is offering its guests the exclusive opportunity to embark on the only luxury river cruise exploring America’s historic Deep South region.
Departing on 26 October 2016, the 14-night voyage will sail on the iconic Mississippi river, from New Orleans to Memphis and Missouri, before taking the Ohio River to Kentucky and Dover, then cruising along Cumberland River and concluding in America’s “Music City”, Nashville, Tennessee.
Operated by French America Line, the luxurious voyage, aptly named “Rhythms of the Deep South”, will showcase the best of the American heartland, exploring some of the region’s most exciting music scenes, with a vibrant mix of jazz, blues, rock ‘n’ roll and country and western music performances. Special highlights of the voyage include the exclusive after-hours tour of Elvis Presley’s home, Graceland, in Memphis, as well as numerous discoveries of the most palatial, grand buildings and antebellum mansions in the country, such as the stunning Cathedral of St Louis, and Oak Alley Plantation.
The premium river cruise will be the only one of its kind and will be on-board America’s only boutique, luxury riverboat, ‘Louisiane’. Lovingly refurbished, this elegant and charming traditional river vessel embraces the French sophistication brought to the region during its colonisation period. As the newest addition to Cruiseco’s premium product range, Louisiane will feature 75 staterooms and suites, with many offering private verandas or French balconies, open decks, a spa, library, the Bar Royale, and three dining venues offering the finest Southern and Continental cuisine from award-winning Chef de Cuisine Regina Charboneau.
Offering flexibility and choice through a variety of cruise options, itineraries will vary from Sampler Cruise Tours of five days or less, right through to Grand Cruise Tours of nine days or more, exploring sights, sounds and hidden treasures along the Mississippi River, the Gulf Coast and Intracoastal Waterway, Ohio River, and the Wilderness Rivers, with all on-shore tours included.
