Emirates is bringing its retrofitted A380, featuring the stellar new Premium Economy cabin, to Melbourne from 1 February 2023. With Sydney the first city in its network to offer Premium Economy on all flights from 15 December this year.
This comes as Emirates introduces the new premium class to another five cities across the globe including Auckland, New York JFK, San Francisco and Singapore. After launching London, Paris and Dubai routes earlier in 2022.
Sink into soft leather seats. Indulge in creative seasonal menus served on Royal Doulton chinaware. Salute your travels with a glass of Chandon sparkling wine. Enjoy over 5,000 channels on your 13.3″ HD TV all within a sophisticated cabin at the front of the A380 aircraft. Expect a higher level of comfort with more space before you sleep under the stars of the overhead mood lighting.
Welcome to your new comfort zone
Emirates has upped their already stellar flight experience with its new Premium Economy cabin and service to rival many airlines’ business class.
Luxurious leather seats offer more legroom and raised cushioned leg rests. 6-way adjustable headrests and a deeper recline will get you into your comfort zone in an instant. In-seat charging points and a side cocktail table offer a no fuss journey. Complimentary amenity kits ensure you arrive at your destination refreshed.

It’s beyond Premium
Located at the front of the Emirates A380 main deck, the Emirates Premium Economy cabin features 56 seats in a 2-4-2 configuration. While on the Emirates Boeing 777, up to 24 Premium Economy seats sit in a dedicated and sophisticated cabin between Business and Economy.
Featuring a sleek wood panel finish similar to Business Class, seats come with a soft, sustainable blanket made from recycled plastic bottles and generously sized pillows ideal for longer haul flights. Individual 13.3″ HDTV screens, one of the largest in its class, are fitted with the latest upgraded inflight entertainment system. Choose from thousands of movies, TV shows, and albums easily connecting to your own headphones wirelessly via Bluetooth. The latest A380 also features a higher speed Wi-Fi service so you are never disconnected.

Elevating the dining experience
A welcome drink in fine glassware and generous meals made with local flavours from regional monthly menus are served on Royal Doulton china tableware with stainless steel cutlery wrapped in linen. Premium, extra vintage and Chandon sparkling wines are all part of service with liqueurs and chocolates offered post meals. It’s beyond premium with dining on par with the Business traveller.
