Emirates luxe new Premium Economy you’ll want to fly

Australian flyers can look forward to another stellar Emirates travel experience as the airline unveils its complete Premium Economy offering.

The new Emirates Premium Economy cabin class offers luxurious seats, more legroom, and service to rival many airlines’ business class. It will be available on popular A380 routes from Sydney, London and Paris from 1 August. Then from Christchurch from December 2022.

Emirates has upped their already stellar flight experience with its new Premium Economy. Luxurious cream-coloured leather seats come with a generous pitch to 40 inches. Seats are 19.5 inches wide and recline 8 inches with ample room to stretch out. With calf and footrests and 6-way adjustable headrests, in-seat charging points and a side cocktail table. Flying has never been so premium.

Premium Economy Cabin

Located at the front of the Emirates A380 main deck, the Emirates Premium Economy cabin features 56 seats in a 2-4-2 configuration. While on the Emirates Boeing 777, up to 24 Premium Economy seats sit in a dedicated cabin between Business and Economy.

The new Premium Economy cabin features a wood panel finish similar to Business Class. With soft, sustainable blankets made from recycled plastic bottles and generously sized pillows also offered to passengers. Individual 13.3″ screens, one of the largest in its class, host up to 5,000 channels. Complimentary amenity kits ensure you arrive at your destination refreshed.

Premium Economy Dining

Dining is on par with Business class, too. A welcome drink in fine glassware and generous meals made with seasonal ingredients and regional influences will be served on chinaware and with stainless-steel cutlery wrapped in a linen napkin. The drinks menu will include premium wines and sparkling Chandon wine. All finished off with liqueurs and chocolates.

Dedicated Check-in

There will be a dedicated check-in area for Emirates Premium Economy in Dubai International Airport. Or simply use one of the many convenient self-service kiosks in the hall for a speedy check-in.

A codeshare partnership between Emirates and Qantas allows access to a vast network of 120 destinations. With Qantas customers able to fly on Emirates to Dubai and access over 50 cities in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.

Emirates Premium Economy tickets are available from 1 June, with flights departing from 1 August 2022.
