Easter delights at InterContinental Sydney

InterContinental Sydney’s The Cortile and sky-high Supper Club will play host to a range of colourful, Easter-inspired dining experiences over the Easter long weekend.

On Thursday 13 and Saturday 15 April from 8pm, tastebuds will be taken to new heights with the limited-edition ‘Barney’s Egg’ cocktail, exclusive to the Supper Club, at Club InterContinental rooftop terrace and lounge, located on the 32nd floor.

A collaboration between the bar’s manager John Toubia and the hotel’s pastry team, the decadent cocktail resembles more of an extravagant art piece. Served in a chocolate Easter egg with a basket of edible flowers and straw, it consists of a swirl of Havana seven-year-old rum, Bailey’s, salted caramel, hazelnut bitters and milk, and is served with a Nutella pot.

The indulgent experience is further heightened by incredible panoramic views across Sydney Harbour from the rooftop terrace.

Meanwhile, down below in the hotel’s elegant lobby, The Cortile will transform into a whimsical wonderland of time-clocks, eccentric hats and lollipop swirls as its hosts the Alice in Wonderland-inspired High Tea.

The Easter Tea Party Buffet will feature a selection of sweets such as Alice’s milk chocolate, pink grapefruit and passionfruit cups, Queen of Hearts buttermilk vanilla scones, hot cross bunnies, and plenty more on Easter Saturday and Sunday.

On Good Friday and Easter Monday, guests can take a trip down the rabbit hole as the signature three-tiered stands transform for a limited-time Alice-inspired tea party, featuring a selection of finger sandwiches, hot savouries and sweets.

Bookings are essential.
