The vast gorges, waterways and rocky escarpments of East Arnhem in the Northern Territory will serve as a backdrop to Intrepid Travel’s inaugural, ‘Journey into Arnhem Land’ program. With the Yolngu culture adding a lovely narrative to the adventure, you will visit the remote coastal communities of Nyinyikay, Bremer Island and Nhulunbuy (also known as Gove) on this seven-day trip.
The highlight is staying in the Yolngu camp at night. By a glowing campfire under the Outback’s night sky, travellers will hear Dreamtime stories, learn how to fish and hunt, and view the unique art that is highly sought-after by collectors around the world.
There are two departures on 31 August and 10 September, 2017.
