DAYS 1-2: COLOMBO

Tour Sri Lanka’s capital city, including the colonial Fort area and the vibrant Pettah, brimming with markets.

DAY 3-4: ANURADHAPURA

At Negombo, see the huge fish market before continuing to the ancient city Anuradhapura. Rise early to see Mihintale, a mountain peak where Buddhism began in Sri Lanka. As night falls, visit an ancient Buddhist worship site.

DAY 5-6: SIGIRIYA & DAMBULLA

After a village visit at Habarana, continue to Polonnaruwa and its historic attractions. Explore one of Asia’s most spectacular cultural sites, the Sigriya Rock fortress. Enjoy a free afternoon, or explore the ancient Ritigale Monastery.

DAYS 7-9: KANDY & NUWARA ELIYA

Visit the Dambulla Rock cave temples and a tropical spice garden. Tour the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy before enjoying an afternoon exploring the city independently, or continue to the magnificent Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. Take a historic train to the colonial tea centre of Nuwara Eliya.

DAYS 10-12: YALA & WELIGAMA

Drive to Ella and take an easy hike to Little Adam’s Peak before lunch with a local family. In Yala
National Park, watch for leopards on safari. Travel to beachside Weligama via the Mulkirigala Rock Monastery.

DAYS 13-15: GALLE & HIKKADUWA

Depart for Mirissa and take a whale watching tour in search of the Blue Whale. See the famous stilt fishermen on the way to Unawatuna for a cooking demonstration and seafood dinner. Discover Galle Fort on a heritage walk.
