Luxury cruise brand Cunard has unveiled its new itineraries for November 2019 to June 2010, with Oceans of Discovery Winter 2020 Voyages promising an increase in variety of sailing choices including Cunard’s first ever Christmas celebrations in Australia, sailing onboard Queen Elizabeth.
Queen Elizabeth will operate a series of compelling and exotic voyages with more regionally-focused itineraries, Queen Mary 2 will undertake Cunard’s only World Voyage in 2020, on a classic East-West Voyage to Australia and Asia, and Queen Victoria will circumnavigate South America, along with a Panama Canal transit.
Key voyage highlights for 2020 include:
Christmas in Australia: Followed by serene cruising in the Fiordland National Park on Boxing Day, guests on board Queen Elizabeth will be well positioned to be amongst the first in the world to see in the New Year, from Auckland, New Zealand.
Deeper, Richer Experiences: Queen Elizabeth’s regionally-focused itineraries will start in Australasia with visits to the remote destination of Papua New Guinea and across exotic Asian destinations. After exploring Japan, where she’ll make five maiden calls, Queen Elizabeth will sail to the splendours of Alaska.
The World Voyage: Queen Mary 2 will embark on a classic East-West exploration to Australia and Asia, via the Mediterranean, Arabian Gulf, Indian Ocean, and Southern Africa, sailing for 99 nights on board one of the world’s most luxurious ships.
Discover South America: After a maiden call in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Queen Victoria will sail up the scenic Amazon to Manaus, around Cape Horn, and transit the Panama Canal on the incredible journey of discovery.
Cunard will also be re-introducing a series of ten ‘old favourite’ destinations including Albany (Australia), Hanoi (Vietnam), Bitung (Indonesia), and Jeju Island (South Korea).
All itineraries in the Oceans of Discovery Winter 2020 Voyages programme have been reinvented to satisfy the needs of Cunard’s guests resulting in extended overnight stay and extra time ashore that will allow more in-depth exploration of a destination and a chance to sample an evening tour, have dinner, or experience the local nightlife.
