Cuba by Bike
Extreme Bike Tours is launching its first-ever Cuban Motorcycle tour in 2016; a guided 13-day trip across the exotic Caribbean island, famous for its rustic, colonial buildings, cigar factories, salsa clubs and 1950s American classic Chevrolets. With two departures, 21 February and 6 March, 2016, intrepid motorcycle enthusiasts will enjoy the personalised, small-group feel as they ride a Harley Davidson, BMW 800cc or Suzuki VStrom to some of Cuba’s iconic sights; World Heritage City of Trinidad, the Bay of Pigs museum, Santiago de Cuba and the coastal roads that lead to the National Park at Las Terazzas before returning to Havana. On foot, travellers will also journey to author, Ernest Hemingway’s former residence, Revolution Square in Havana and the mausoleum of Marxist revolutionary, Che Guevara. The tour includes four to six hours of riding each day and is available for licensed motorcyclists as well as pillion passengers.
