Luxury cruise line Crystal Cruises has continued with its mega brand expansion, unveiling its lavishly outfitted Bombardier Global Express XRS Jet as the newest addition to its new Crystal Luxury Air fleet.

Designed to compliment Crystal guests’s by providing them with the option to fly privately on their Crystal vacation, the new jet will accommodate 12 guests when it enters into service on 3 April 2016.

Speaking of the launch, Crystal president and chief executive officer Edie Rodriguez comments: “Crystal Luxury Air will open tremendous possibilities for luxury travellers seeking the next level of ease and exclusivity during their journeys, giving them the flexibility to truly customise their vacation experiences to privately fly to combine our cruise, yacht, river, residence, and air experiences.”

Decked out with three spacious cabins, the Global Express jet will provide a comfortable space for business, relaxation and sleeping with four executive wide club seats and foldout tables for dining and meetings in the front cabin, seating for five, a workstation and cabinet for conferencing in the mid cabin, and a three-person divan that can be transformed to a large bed in the aft cabin.

Technical facilities include a variety of electronic video supplies, laptop imagery on all cabin monitors, XM Radio, surround sound, a 31.5” LCD TV, high speed internet and in-flight phone service.

The jet is now available for booking chartered flights virtually anywhere in the world, with a maximum flight range at just under 12 hours per leg. The expanding Crystal Luxury Air fleet will also add a Boeing 777 in 2017 and 787 Dreamliner in 2018.
