As days get darker and a little cooler, that shouldn’t stop your desire to get out and enjoy all that Sydney has to offer.
Pier One Sydney Harbour is offering a private igloo set within their stunning hotel for groups of up to ten and decked out in an all-white winter wonderland.
Think fluffy, snowball-like footstools and fairy lights inside a cherry blossom-inspired dome with plush furnishings. And that “only in Sydney” vista.
With a private chef rustling up a menu of Sydney Rock Oysters with Blanc de Blancs and lime leaf dressing, Crudo seasoned spicy tartare in gem lettuce cups, and Wagyu mixed cut skewers grilled with mustard and rye sauce. Grazing boards come with a selection of Pino Dolce Vito charcuterie with pickles, Australian cheeses with quince and dried fruit, sourdough bread, lavish grissini and house-made dips with marinated olives.
In the drinks department, canned cocktails by Curatif include a Negroni with gin from South Australia’s Never Never Distilling Co and a Mai Tai from Jacoby’s Tiki Bar, plus Margaritas Bloody Marys and Espresso Martinis. Wine is poured by the bottle, and beer buckets can be procured with Corona, Lord Nelson pale ale and Sydney Beer Co brews.
