Travelling through scenic Shenandoah Valley, on day six, guests will visit Monticello, the beautiful home and gardens of Thomas Jefferson, who was not only the third U.S. President and author of the Declaration of Independence but an accomplished inventor and true “Renaissance man.”

Travellers can choose between a walking tour of the Freedom Trail with a local guide following the footsteps of those who shaped America during the Revolutionary War, or a panoramic tour of the city to see Boston’s iconic treasures including the Old South Meeting House, the Public Gardens, Old North Church and Beacon Hill. Both tours will stop at the famed Faneuil Hall Marketplace, bustling with various street performers and colourful kiosks of local handiwork.
En route to Vermont, guests can visit the Norman Rockwell Museum before heading on to the idyllic Equinox Resort & Spa in Manchester, Vermont.
From here, travellers will visit Hildene, the historical Lincoln family home. Set on 412 acres, this impressive property features 22 room mansion, magnificent gardens, and the vintage Pullman car. Visitors can also choose an optional locally guided tour of Vermont’s back roads including stops at a maple sugar shack and the historic town of Bennington.

This grand masterpiece of Spanish Renaissance architecture features decadent dining facilities, a Donald Ross-designed golf course, an award-winning Alpine and Nordic ski centre and luxurious signature spa.
