Climb The Gobbins in Ireland

96-gobbins1

Intrepid adventurers to Northern Ireland’s famous Causeway Coastal Route now have the opportunity to be suspended in mid-air above crashing waves on a spectacular cliff path over the wild Irish Sea. The Gobbins, a magnificently restored Edwardian walkway, takes visitors more than three kilometres along the sheer cliff face via high suspended bridges and glass tunnels. The dramatic series of 23 tubular and suspension bridges, water-splashed gantries, a staircase, caves and tunnels carved through the County Antrim basalt offer visitors a mix of white-knuckle adventure, history and a spectacular landscape straight out of Game of Thrones.
