Cirque du Soleil’s TORUK makes first flight down under

TORUK – The First Flight by Cirque du Soleil has made its way to Australian shores, playing its first performance down under to a packed audience at Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney Olympic Park last night.

The highly acclaimed and anticipated production is a visual spectacular based on James Cameron’s fantastical 2009 film Avatar, with the storyline depicting events that took place on the fictional planet ‘Pandora’, thousands of years before the film.

Its Cirque du Soleil’s own interpretation of the Avatar story, combining narrative, puppetry, acrobatics, choreography, costume, and state-of-the-art technology, lighting and set design for a stage production that is quite literally out of this world.

Never one to miss out on a good time, AccorHotels is the Official Accommodation Partner for TORUK, so expect to see a number of exclusive pre-show dining options to make your night at the circus even more memorable.
