After six months of renovation, Chiva-Som Hua Hin has reopened. The renovation marks the first major renovation since opening in 1995. The focus of the renovation has been the Thai Pavilions, Emerald Room, Orchid Lounge and the inclusion of an all-new golf retreat.
The Thai Pavilions have undergone a brightening. Sustainable teak, silk and bamboo tie the rooms together for a calming space filled with natural light. The inclusion of a new room category, the Thai Pavilion Suite allows guests to relax on their own private outdoor sala, a private room with space for six guests.
Additionally, the Emerald Room had been revamped with a new glass wall flooded the restaurant with natural light. From the 8 to 11 December Chiva-Som will welcome guest Chef Keisuke Matsushima. Chef Matsushima will be serving French-Japanese Fusion dishes with a wellness twist that is aligned with the Chiva-Som philosophies.
Also a recipient of major work is the Orchid Lounge. Now home to a piano, pond-side seating and an open juice bar, the lounge serves as a place where guests can meet up and interact.
The ‘Total Golf Enhancement’ retreat was launched and is suitable for players from all levels of expertise. Improvement is the name of the game. In-house professionals can monitor your playing to provide feedback and assessment for the next game.
