Bid to win Australia's best Valentine's Day dinner dates

The Hunger Project has enlisted more than 130 restaurants to offer a unique Valentine’s Day experience through an online auction, to raise money to end world hunger.

Back for a third year, A Table To End Hunger returns better than ever serving up some of Australia’s most sought after Valentine’s Day dates.

“A Table To End Hunger is an amazing opportunity to not only dine at a top restaurant with your loved one but to help solve a bigger problem too,” The Hunger Project Australia chief executive officer Melanie Noden says.

“There’s still a long way to go to end world hunger and this event is one way for Australians to play a part in the solution.”

Bidders will be able to win more than just dinner and drinks with some venues offering exclusive experiences for the night of 14 February.

Boasting some of the best views in Sydney, Aria Restaurant has created a unique experience for one lucky couple, offering a prime table to the winning bidder with an exclusive menu from head chef Jason Staudt and hidden gems from its cellar selected by head sommelier Alex Kirkwood.

For an entertaining night, bid on the Sydney Opera House’s French three-course menu at House Brasserie followed by tickets to the renowned Merry Widow or go on a private tour of the Art Gallery NSW followed by dinner at Chiswick at the Gallery.

For those wanting an interesting and exciting experience, bid on a double date at the Paddo Inn, whisky tasting and cheese boards at The Clock or private karaoke house party at Little Big House.

Bidding is on now until 9pm Sunday 11 February 2018.
