The Tourism Council of Bhutan has announced a special Bhutan-Australia Friendship Offer for Australians visiting this spectacular destination from 1 June to 31 August 2018.
This exclusive offer from the Royal Government of Bhutan commemorates this year’s marking of 15 years of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Bhutan and Australia.
The Bhutan-Australia friendship offer allows visitors to benefit from discounted airline fares, up to 50 percent discounts in partnering hotels, and a one-time visa fee of USD40.
Additionally, visitors do not have to pay a surcharge of USD40 per person per night or USD30 each for two persons, and the first group will have an exclusive airport reception.
Also, instead of paying the minimum daily package rate of USD200 per person per night visitors can pay the government Sustainable Development Fee of USD65 per person per night.
Bhutan’s incredible culture, tradition and rich nature, makes this the perfect place for bird lovers and photographers.
Bhutan is stunning in all seasons with myriad flora and fauna in Spring and Summer, golden sunlight in Autumn, and clear skies making the gorgeous mountain views stand out in the Winter.
For those seeking adventure, white water rafting, mountain biking, kayaking, rock climbing and mountain biking are just some of the interesting activities offered here.
Year-round Bhutan offers a sense of peace and tranquillity in the environment, with cultural festivities celebrated in ancient local traditions.
