Pack your bags and get the kids in order – the annual Holidays with Kids Best Family Resorts Awards have been announced.
The awards list the best resorts for families, as voted by Holidays with Kids‘ vast readership. There are two main categories for Australian resorts: under 4 stars and above 4-stars.
With its warm climate and sunny hospitality, Queensland continues to dominate the awards. Resorts in the Sunshine State took out the top three places in both categories.
Australia’s favourite family resort above 4-stars was Sea World Resort & Waterpark on the Gold Coast. Turtle Beach Resort and JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa tied in second place, while RACV Noosa Resort came third.
Meanwhile, in 4-stars and under, Paradise Resort Gold Coast took out the title for the 11th consecutive year. As the only Australian resort with a water park, ice rink and laser tag, this comes as no surprise.
In second place was Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort and third was Reef View Hotel on Hamilton Island.
