Banyan Tree Tamouda Bay will be Morocco’s first all inclusive pool villa resort when it opens 1 September 2016, marking Banyan Tree’s inaugural venture in the Mediterranean and Africa.
Set to offer and exceptional experience of Moroccan charm and luxury, each of the 92 luxury pool villas will feature classic Moroccan style architecture and décor, a lush garden complete with private pool, and some will have direct access to the beach.
Ideal for couples and families, the new destination offers exciting activities beyond Banyan Tree’s renowned spas and dining.
Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy scuba diving, wakeboarding, jet-skiing or a relaxed walk along the unspoiled beach in search of whales and dolphins.
You can also hike into the Rif Mountains, venture to nearby Cabo Negro, discover the Medina of Tetouan, a UNESCO World Heritage site just 20 minutes away, explore the city of Tangier just an hour away, see the famous ‘Blue Town’, Chefchaouen, or tee off for a game of golf at Cabo Negro Royal Golf Club or the Tangier Royal Golf Club.
Back at the resort, guests can enjoy pampering at the signature Banyan Tree spa and hammam, use the gym, or relax in the library, while the kids are entertained in the Kids Club.
There is a range of rich cultural experiences on offer, and discerning travellers will be able to enjoy a destination dining experience on the beach or a Moroccan feast under a traditional tent. The resort also features four restaurants as well as 24-hour-in-villa dining, offering a range of Moroccan, Mediterranean, and international dishes.
