Bakso Malang, Bali

Bakso Malang Bali
Bakso is a delicious Indonesian meatball (usually beef, but it can be made of shrimp, chicken, or fish) often served in a bowl of broth, along with vermicelli noodles, veggies, crispy wontons, tofu, egg, bean sprouts, Chinese cabbage, and siomay, then topped with a delicious soy sauce blend. One particularly spectacular food cart sets up shop on the road opposite Bali’s famed Tegalalang Rice Terraces; the noodles from this food cart are blue, while the wontons are some of the crispiest you’ll find in all of Bali. The vendor is a remarkably friendly fellow who is all too happy to prepare your Bakso to order, and can kick up the heat if you’ve got a brave soul.
