Brisbane has a new sanctuary where you can give your body a wellbeing reboot. One Wybelenna opened in September and is located in Brookfield, west of the city’s CBD. The sanctuary sits in the shell of a 1960s Robin Gibson-designed property which has been revitalised into a sprawling 1970s modern California-esque estate. Lush manicured lawns, a lap pool, outdoor terraces and landscaped gardens bring nature into the treatment rooms, where guests are encouraged to embrace the centre’s holistic approach to wellness.
Like the property itself, the spa menu focuses on new technology and time-honoured practices. Luxury Spanish skincare range Germaine de Capuccini is used in facial treatments for men and women, while the Subtle Energies Ayurvedic Aromatherapy oils are the piece de resistance of Marma massages. Signature Rituals include a Chocolate Scrub and Ancient Pinda Balance that combines exfoliation, aromatherapy and Thai poultice pads. Just remember to allow plenty of time to enjoy the lap pool and gardens.
