If you’ve been out and about in Glasgow City recently then you’ll have noticed enormous pieces of art adorning the city’s brickwork. The murals have not only brightened up the streets, but are supporting local artists by providing a space for their unique creations. The City Centre’s brand new Mural Trail, all contained in one easy walking route, makes enjoying these huge splashes of colour a breeze. Among the many incredible artworks you’ll find a fantastical floating taxi, while a sunken Dalek awaits on Clyde Street. Glasgow’s very own Panda can be found in Gordon Lane, on Argyle Street you’ll see a café full of elephants, and in Ingram Street car park you’ll find all manner of Scottish wildlife coming from a huge mural.
