Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is currently undergoing a $14 billion Capital Improvement Program that will continue until through 2023.

The LAX modernisation program is considered the largest public works program in the history of the City of Los Angeles. Among the completed projects is the new Tom Bradley International Terminal, which has new aircraft gates and concourse areas, and a Great Hall for premier dining, retail and other guest amenities.

The Tom Bradley has many great artworks, live music and installations, and recently gained another artwork recently with renowned Los Angeles street artist Colette Miller, known for her work on the Global Angel Wings Project, flying in to create set of wings. The Project first launched in LA in 2012, and was designed to inspire and remind us of our share humanity and has become a social media sensation as people flock to take their own picture in front of the wings. Colette has unveiled her latest pair of Angel Wings at LAX to inspire and excite international travellers.

The artwork is located on Departures Level 3, pre-security in the Tom Bradley International Terminal (near aisle A) until mid-September. Travellers who snap their own photo with the wings and post to social media using #iflyLAX will be eligible to win prizes from TBIT.
