The new Anantara Quy Nhon villas in Vietnam offers the ability for guests to explore the nearby city of Quy Nhon before returning to the quiet beachside location. The newly opened villas are in a secluded bay in the Binh Dinh province just south of the province’s capital Quy Nhon. Villa staff can arrange tours to the city where guests can enjoy traditional home-cooked Vietnamese meals, and view relics of the Champa civilisation and age-old Buddhist pagodas.
There are 26 one-and-two-bedroom ocean view villas set in just over seven hectares of tropical gardens. Surrounded by nature, the villas are made from locally-sourced materials, traditional craft techniques and designed with both traditional and contemporary regional influences.
The villas feature timber and granite sundecks, plunge pools and low overhang roofs. Additionally, each villa comes with a personalised butler service alongside a range of customisable amenities from room scent, to soap collection to wine choice.
Also onsite are a variety of different dining destinations. Firstly, Sea.Fire.Salt offers all-day dining where staff expertly provide guided tastings to compliment classic Vietnamese cuisine. The Pool Bar provides guests with an ocean view for swim-up cocktails, Vietnamese craft beers and Cuban cigars. In-villa dining transports the full restaurant experience to your own private villa. Enjoy fully catered poolside barbecues, breakfast in bread and luxury Vietnamese street food. Lastly, those wishing for some adventure can take Anantara’s signature Dining by Design. Guests are treated to uninhabited island picnics, coracle boat fishing and a five-star dining experience.
Anantara Quy Nhon are only a 50-minute drive from Quy Nhon airport. There are daily flights into Quy Nhon Airport from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.
The resort is currently undergoing a soft launch with the resort fully opening in January 2019.
Rooms start at about A$750 for a Beachfront Villa.
