Chartair has announced a brand-new flight route from Alice Springs to Ayres Rock Airport.
The Cessna 402 flight is the only direct air route between the two famous destinations. The journey takes about four and a half hours to drive.
Flights will commence from 18 June and will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays.
Small groups only
The Cessna 402 fits just six passengers on the Alice Springs to Ayres Rock airport flight at a time.
Chartair is offering an introductory fare of $329 per passenger/per way, on sale until 30 June 2021.
The standard fare will be $399 per passenger/per way.
Chartair is one of the largest aviation operators in Australia with a fleet of more than 40 aircraft.
The company can also arrange private charters for bespoke luxury holidays and scenic flights.
