Flowers, clogs and pot seeds – what’s not to love about Amsterdam’s outdoor markets? Just don’t go crazy and try and pack any of the flora or fauna into your bag for the return trip home. Market browsing is a way of life in this city, and the 100-year-old Albert Cuyp Market is home to more than 300 vendors that sling everything from fruits and veggies and fish to clothes, furniture and cosmetics. The legendary Bloemenmarkt is a better choice for flowers, but this market is great if you’re just after the market experience itself.
