2015 marks 10 years of the Alaska Railroad’s premium GoldStar Service – a milestone being celebrated with a move to all-inclusive dining for GoldStar guests.
Adding to the value and convenience of the Alaska Railroad experience, GoldStar guests will now enjoy first-class meals and beverages from the Alaska Railroad’s on board menu. With a selection of local cuisine from Alaska seafood to reindeer sausage, the new all-inclusive offering also showcases local brews from Alaskan Brewing Company and Denali Brewing Company.
GoldStar seating is available on the Denali Star train between Anchorage and Fairbanks and the Coastal Classic train between Anchorage and Seward.
These double-decker GoldStar cars are equipped with a private bar, upper level outdoor viewing deck and dome window ceilings on the upper level for optimal views.
