Air New Zealand has released hundreds of Trans-Tasman flights for sale after New Zealand confirmed quarantine-free travel between Australia and New Zealand will start from April 19.
Air New Zealand Chief Executive Officer Greg Foran said the airline was incredibly excited to have the border reopen.
“This is terrific news,” Foran said.
“I know Kiwis and Australians have been wanting to reconnect with whānau and friends for a year now and we’re incredibly excited to be playing a part in those reunions.”

Onboard Air New Zealand
Customers will be required to wear masks during travel to and from Australia and screening questions will be asked at check-in.
Anyone showing any cold or flu symptoms will not be allowed to board the AirNZ flight to New Zealand.
