Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre
Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre is one of America’s premier outdoor entertainment venues showcasing some of the world’s biggest artists. The walls are formed by giant sandstone outcroppings higher than Niagara Falls, offering the perfect backdrop for a family photo with panoramic mountain views in the background during the day or to showcase your latest awesome concert tickets!
City Park is a trendy urban park with glistening lakes and unforgettable views of Denver’s skyline; the perfect place to enjoy some of Denver’s 300 annual days of sunshine and to snap an atmospheric photo of the city as the sun sets behind the Rocky Mountain Front Range.
Larimer Square is Denver’s downtown shopping and dining district. It’s a top spot to get a creative urban photo with canopy lights twinkling above contrasted with the historic Victorian buildings that are now home to trendy restaurants and boutiques.
Sculpture Park is an outdoor venue at the Denver Performing Arts Complex, the ideal location for a funky photo with your own flair. It features two 50-foot high sculptures called ‘The Dancers’ that tower above you.
Denver Union Station
Denver Union Station is the re-imagined 1914 railway station now connecting lower downtown with Denver International Airport by fast train. This beautiful Beaux Arts-style building, transportation, dining and retail hub will wow photographers both inside and out with its façade, stone clock tower and stunningly redesigned high-ceilinged historic interior.
16th Street Mall
Designed by famous architect I.M. Pei, 16th Street Mall is a mile-long pedestrian photo opportunity. Its walkway of coloured granite appears as a diamondback rattlesnake from above, and below, thousands of bright flowers line the footpath with street performers, musicians and artists along the way.
Colorado State Capitol
The Colorado State Capitol building was constructed in the 1890s from white granite, topped by a magnificent gold dome sure to enhance your photo of this charming historic building. The fifth step is exactly one mile high, giving Denver its famous tag, the Mile-High City. The Colorado State Capitol is a popular selfie spot!
Denver Botanic Gardens
The Denver Botanic Gardens comprises 45 different colourful gardens such as the Dryland Mesa that features unique drought-tolerant plants from Mediterranean areas. A nature photographer’s dream!
Denver Blue Bear
Don’t forget to take a fun photo with your friends at Denver’s iconic Blue Bear, a 12-metre-high sculpture created by local artist Lawrence Argent, which appears to be peering into the Colorado Convention Center lobby.
Denver Art Museum
