Every year the team at Ski & Snowboard with Kids consults its readers along with a panel of experts (aka ski gurus) to determine the best family-family ski resorts around the world.
For each popular snow region – Australia, New Zealand, Japan, USA, Canada and Europe – the judges nominated their top picks across six categories: best for beginners, best for advanced families, best for all-round family activities, best village location and atmosphere, best freestyle resort, and best snow hotel. Loyal readers also had their say by voting for their favourite resorts in the Reader’ Choice category.
The votes were then compiled to determine the winners of the Best Family Ski Resorts Awards 2020, published in the Ski & Snowboard with Kids annual magazine. Here’s what came out on top for each region:
