Happy hour in Brisbane just got better with the opening of the new overwater bar, Will & Flow.
Situated near Goodwill Bridge and the QUT Gardens Point ferry terminal, Will & Flow, by the Treasury Brisbane, is a custom-designed venue offering waterfront views and a mouth-watering menu.
The new space, which opened in November, marks Treasury Brisbane’s first venue outside of its historic sandstone premises. It also lends itself to riverfront revitalisation plan set to turn Brisbane’s Queens Wharf in into thriving hospitality hub.
Catering for up to 130 guests and serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, Will & Flow is expected to become a CBD go-to for locals and travellers alike.
On the menu at Will & Flow
Early risers can soak up the morning sun with light grab-and-go options, including acai and fruit bowls. While afternoon diners and latecomers can enjoy a seafood-inspired menu while watching the sunset.
Similarly, the drinks menu will shift from coffee and freshly squeezed juices and in the morning to a mix of Queensland-brewed and premium beverages, refreshing cocktails, and fun spritzes in the afternoon.
Fine wine and champagne will also be on offer, with options like Moet, Moet and Chandon, Penfolds, and Robert Oatley.
“One of our hero dishes, Platter from the Sea, will showcase Jonah crab, smoked salmon, prawns, oysters, mussels, and scallops,” Treasury Brisbane COO Kelvin Dodt said.
Other standouts on the menu include the Scallop Saint Jacques featuring scallops, bechamel sauce, and crisp prosciutto; and the roasted King Prawns with confit garlic and fennel.
If you’re not a seafood fan, there are alternative options on the menu. Perhaps a freshly made wood-fired pizza takes your fancy or tasty pulled pork with a slaw or beef brisket served with twice-cooked ‘naughty’ fries.
Will & Flow is open Tuesday to Sunday but, as with anything new, you will need to book ahead to make sure you get a spot.
